She studied music and jazz singing at the Universität der Künste in Berlin and the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany. Her career spans over a decade, with performances at jazz, blues, folk, and world music festivals in countries like Colombia, the United States, India, Italy, Cuba, Belgium, Spain, Latvia, and Germany. Gina has shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Héctor Martignon and Samuel Torres. She has also taught jazz improvisation clinics in several countries, including Italy, Spain, and India, where she was an international guest professor at the Global Music Institute in New Delhi.
Gina's discography includes albums like "Un Lugar" (2007) and "Naoh" (2010), showcasing her ability to blend improvisation with jazz and Latin American elements. Her music often reflects the spontaneity of life, expressing thoughts and feelings through simple yet powerful melodies. Gina has been recognized for her talent, winning the National Vocal Jazz Contest organized by the Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá in 2009. Her versatility has allowed her to perform in diverse cultural settings, from jazz clubs to international festivals, representing Colombia in various cultural events worldwide.
