Sublime With Rome is a musical collaboration that rose from the ashes of the legendary ska-punk band Sublime, following the untimely death of their original frontman, Bradley Nowell, in 1996. The new incarnation of the band was formed in 2009, when Sublime bassist Eric Wilson united with gifted vocalist and guitarist Rome Ramirez. They added "with Rome" to the band's name following a legal disagreement with the Nowell estate over the use of the Sublime name, indicating a new chapter with Ramirez at the helm.
Their music captures the spirit of Sublime's original essence while infusing new energy and perspective brought by Rome's unique style. Sublime With Rome has since released several successful albums including "Yours Truly" in 2011, "Sirens" in 2015, and their latest offering "Blessings" in 2019, each solidifying their place in the pantheon of rock, reggae, and ska-punk genres. With a mix of new hits like "Wicked Heart" and live sessions that harken back to the original vibe that put Sublime on the map, the band carries the torch of their predecessors into the modern music era, enchanting both long-time Sublime fans and winning over new listeners with their energetic performances and heartfelt homage to the sounds that define them.
