Norman Nodge, born Norman Fricke, is a Berlin-based techno artist and lawyer whose no-nonsense approach to electronic music has made him a cult favorite. By day, he practices criminal law, but by night, he’s a Berghain resident and trusted affiliate of Marcel Dettmann’s MDR (Marcel Dettmann Records) label – home to raw, functional tracks like his *Mdr 03*, *05*, and *07* EPs. His sound blends hypnotic loops, industrial textures, and dubby atmospheres, showcased in releases like *Embodiment EP* and *The Happenstance*. Nodge’s stripped-back style reflects his pragmatic dual career, earning him respect for both his legal precision and dancefloor-focused productions.
