She is a singer, songwriter, journalist, writer, and music producer known for her contributions to the rock scene in Fortaleza during the 1970s. Mona was a pioneer alongside artists like Siegbert Franklin and Ricardo Augusto Rocha. She participated in the iconic *Massafeira* show, which helped shape the musical landscape of Ceará. Her music career includes several albums, such as *Mona Gadelha* (1996), *Cenas & Dramas* (2000), *Tudo se Move* (2004), *Salve a Beleza* (2010), and *Praia Lírica* (2011). Mona also founded the musical label and production company Brazilbizz in 2004. Besides music, she holds a degree in Communication and a master's in the same field from the Federal University of Ceará.
