Rogue Traders

Rogue Traders is an Australian electronic rock band that came into prominence in the early 2000s. The band was formed by James Ash and Steve Davis, later joined by singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte after original vocalist Melinda Appleby left. Their fusion of rock, pop, and electronic elements, along with their energetic live performances, quickly garnered them a dedicated fan base. Rogue Traders achieved massive success with the release of their second album, "Here Come The Drums," in 2005, which featured hit singles like "Voodoo Child" and "Way to Go!".

With their signature blend of catchy hooks, dance beats, and rock sensibility, Rogue Traders have continued to release music and keep their sound fresh. Songs like "Watching You" and "Better In The Dark" remain fan favorites, showcasing the band’s ability to craft infectious rhythms and melodies that resonate on the dance floor. Though their lineup has changed over the years, with Bassingthwaighte departing in 2008 and subsequent shifts in membership, the essence of Rogue Traders has persisted. They have maintained a presence in the industry with releases such as "Cut The Chord" and the 2021 radio edit of "In Love Again," demonstrating their enduring appeal in the world of pop and electronic music.
