Unkle Ho

Unkle Ho is an Australian multi-instrumentalist and producer, best known as a founding member of the acclaimed hip-hop band The Herd. With a rich tapestry of worldly influences, Unkle Ho's music blends traditional folk melodies, hip-hop beats, and a multitude of samples and sounds that take listeners on a global sonic journey. His unique approach to music has seen him carve out a distinct niche within the electronica and hip-hop scenes, drawing on everything from Asian to Eastern European cultural elements to inform his eclectic compositions.

Following his substantive contributions to The Herd, Unkle Ho embarked on a solo career that allowed him to further explore his diverse musical interests. His solo releases, including the vibrant "Circus Maximus" and the more recent "Roads to Roma," exhibit a predilection for fusing cinematic textures with an organic sensibility. "Subterrania," another high point in his solo work, dives deep into atmospheric soundscapes, while "Kindergarten / Lime Juice EP" showcases his ability to craft infectious rhythms that are at once playful and introspective. With each project, Unkle Ho reaffirms his role as an innovative producer and artist pushing the boundaries of conventional music genres.
