Tabea Kind

Tabea Kind is a talented German double bassist born in Karlsruhe in 1999. She currently resides in Basel, Switzerland, where she actively performs in various music formations across Germany and Switzerland. Her career involves collaborations with numerous renowned musicians, including Ben van Gelder, Pablo Held, Joey Baron, and Linda Oh. Tabea has played at esteemed venues such as the Schaffhausen Jazzfestival, Loft Köln, Elbjazz Hamburg, and Moods. In May 2024, she released her debut album titled "Fragments," which features her own compositions and showcases her musical depth. The album includes notable tracks like "Ostinato" and "Uninvolved," highlighting her improvisational skills and songwriting ability. More recently, Tabea has released another collection titled "Wellen im Bauch" in March 2025.
