Operating under the moniker Kalbata, he has released a range of music, including dancehall, reggae, and UK bass-influenced tracks. One of his notable projects is the documentary film "Congo Beat the Drum," where he, along with Uri Wertheim, traveled to Jamaica to record an album with veteran reggae artists, showcasing his deep connection to the reggae genre.

Kalbata's music career began while he was living in the UK, where he studied photography and developed his skills as a producer. He has released several notable tracks such as "Vanrock" featuring Tigris, and "Al Shark," which reflect his diverse musical influences.
