Rio and the Rockabilly Revival is a spitfire roots rock band built on the vision of frontwoman Rio Scafone, known for their whiskey-soaked rockabilly energy and Southern revival tent vibes. The band blends raw, honest music with soulful arrangements, as heard in tracks like "Monster" – their first release featuring newer members, including Mark Leo on Gretsch guitar and Paige Grider on tenor sax. Rio's personal storytelling shines through their catalog, which includes recent singles addressing everything from true crime fascinations to holiday mischief ("Big Bad Santa," "Santa Skipped My House"). The group has collaborated with Cancer Can Rock to record "Train to Glory," supporting musicians facing cancer through professional studio experiences. Following personal challenges including the loss of her father and uncle Jack Scott (a rockabilly-era artist), Rio returned to creating music with renewed focus, balancing band projects with solo work.
