The Format was an indie rock band from Arizona, known for their catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and the distinctive vocals of frontman Nate Ruess. Formed in the early 2000s, the band gained a dedicated following with albums like "Interventions + Lullabies" and "Dog Problems," blending elements of pop-punk, power-pop, and indie rock. Though they went on hiatus in 2008, much to the dismay of their fans, they reunited for a tour in 2020 and have released new music since then, much to the delight of their dedicated fanbase.
