Sugarpie And The Candymen

Sugarpie and the Candymen are an Italian band from Piacenza and Cremona known for blending swing, manouche jazz, blues, soul, pop, and vocal harmonies. Formed in 2008, they initially featured lead vocalist Georgia Ciavatta before Lara Ferrari (Miss Sugarpie) took over in 2016, joined by musicians like Jacopo Delfini (guitar), Renato Podestà (guitar/banjo), Roberto Lupo (drums), and bassists including Alex Carreri and Claudio Ottaviano over the years. Their eclectic repertoire spans from Django Reinhardt to Led Zeppelin, evolving into original songs in Italian and English by 2010, with tours across Europe and the U.S., plus notable festival appearances like Ascona Jazz Festival (2011) where they won the Audience Award.

After six albums and nearly 15 years together, they expanded their sound with 2018’s *Cotton Candy Club*, incorporating electro-swing alongside their signature genre-blending energy. While recent releases like *Quando, Quando, Quando* and *Christmas Come And Take Me Away* showcase their playful versatility, their live shows remain a high-energy mix of vintage charm and modern flair.
