Mirrored Daughters

Mirrored Daughters is a collaborative music project featuring members from various bands, including Firestations, The Leaf Library, and Marlody. The group consists of Marlody, Mike Cranny from Firestations, Matt and Lewis from The Leaf Library, and cellist Hannah Reeves. Their music is characterized by lo-fi folk-pop and explorative woodland meditations, often inspired by travels in Epping Forest and spontaneous collaborations. Their self-titled debut album, released in February 2025, includes tracks like "Mirror Descend" and "Mirror Ascend," showcasing a blend of acoustic instruments such as guitars, cellos, clarinets, harmoniums, and bells, creating an earthy sonic environment for their spacious songs.

Recent releases from Mirrored Daughters include singles like "City Song," "The New Design," and "Unreturning Sun," all part of their debut album. These tracks offer a glimpse into their unique sound, which combines crystal-clear melancholy with benign drone rituals, inviting listeners on a journey through both real and imagined landscapes. The band's approach to music is distinct from the widescreen production of their other projects, embracing instead the warm tones of acoustic instruments.
