Moya Brennan, born Máire Ní Bhraonáin on August 4, 1952, is an esteemed Irish folk singer, songwriter, and harpist, who has garnered international recognition both as a solo artist and as the lead vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning Celtic folk group, Clannad. Hailing from Gweedore, County Donegal, she has been a leading figure in Celtic music since the 1970s, often referred to as the "First Lady of Celtic Music" for her contributions to popularizing the genre.
