Roberto Lara

Roberto Lara was an Argentine musician specializing in music for guitar and chamber music. Born on May 23, 1927, in Tres Arroyos, Buenos Aires, Lara began his musical journey at a young age, studying music and guitar from the age of seven. He gained recognition for his technique and artistic sensitivity, performing as a soloist in prominent theaters in Argentina, such as the Teatro Colón and Teatro Cervantes. Internationally, Lara performed in countries like Brazil, Mexico, France, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, and Hungary. His pedagogical and methodological works were published in Argentina and abroad. Lara composed and interpreted various works, including the notable release "Argentina: The Guitar of the Pampas," which garnered international recognition. He passed away on November 3, 1988.
