Help Stamp Out Loneliness

Help Stamp Out Loneliness is a band formed after the dissolution of the indie pop group Language Of Flowers in 2007. Founding members Bentley Cooke (guitar) and Colm McCrory (bass) were initially hesitant to re-engage in music but eventually recruited Ben Ambridge on drums, Louise Winfield on organ, pianist Kath McMahon, and singer D. Lucille Campbell. This lineup gave the band a balanced gender dynamic. The group's music is characterized by its indie pop sound, and they have enjoyed highlights like performing at London's 'PopFest' and Hamburg's 'Hit the North'. The band members have diverse influences, including Adam Ant, Bowie, The Cure, and more contemporary artists like John Grant and Beach House.

Their discography includes songs like "Torvill and Dean," "Help Stamp out Loneliness," and "Pacific Trash Vortex," showcasing their eclectic style. The band has been part of a lively indie-pop community, sharing a sense of camaraderie with similar artists.
