Bendik Hofseth is a Norwegian saxophonist and composer known for his genre-blending jazz explorations and atmospheric storytelling. Starting his career in the late 1980s as a member of the jazz fusion band Steps Ahead, Hofseth later carved his own path with solo work that weaves together jazz, rock, electronic textures, and global influences. His recent *Forest Quadrology* series (*Pollen and Leaves*, *Roots*, *Branches*, *Trunks*) showcases his fascination with nature’s rhythms, creating immersive soundscapes that feel equal parts organic and experimental.

A collaborator at heart, Hofseth has worked with artists like Marius Beck and Nils Petter Molvær, while maintaining a distinct voice marked by melodic warmth and intricate layering.
