LutosAir Quintet

LutosAir Quintet is a Polish wind ensemble founded in 2013 to commemorate the centenary of Witold Lutosławski's birth. Comprising soloists from the NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, the quintet is known for its diverse repertoire, which includes contemporary music and chamber pieces. They are one of the most active and versatile Polish wind ensembles, having performed at prominent festivals such as Warszawska Jesień, Wratislavia Cantans, and Jazztopad. The quintet has collaborated with renowned musicians and has premiered works by several Polish composers.

Recent releases like "LutosAir Quintet 5" and "Lutosławski: Opera omnia, Vol. 7" demonstrate their commitment to both innovative and classical music. The ensemble's current lineup features Jan Krzeszowiec on flute and Mateusz Żurawski on oboe. Their performances have taken them beyond Poland, with concerts in England, Germany, Egypt, and Denmark.
