The Facer is a Swedish rock band that emerged in the late 1990s. Originally formed under the name Hela Hela in 1992, the band changed its name to The Facer in 1997. They quickly gained a reputation as an exceptional live act. Their discography includes two studio albums, *Go for the Show* (1999) and *Final Exit* (2000), along with three EPs: *King of Expectation* (1998), *Good Vibrations* (1999), and *Ramalama (Me on Your Side)* (1999). The band members include Poul Perris on vocals, Fredrik Fagerlund on guitar and organ, Henrik Kjellberg on bass, Peter Furby on drums, and Patrik "Putte" Berglund on guitar. After a period of inactivity, The Facer briefly reunited in 2008 and again in 2011 to release new material.
The Facer's music career was marked by performances at notable festivals like Hultsfredsfestivalen in 1999 and 2000. The band's sound and style were influenced by their dynamic live performances, which were a hallmark of their early success. Despite their hiatus, The Facer remains a notable part of Sweden's rock music scene from the late 1990s and early 2000s.
