Ann Savoy is a renowned American musician, author, and music historian known for her passionate work in preserving and performing Cajun and Creole music. As a singer, guitarist, and accordionist, she's been a central figure in the Louisiana music scene for decades. Ann is a member of several musical projects, including The Savoy Family Band—with her husband, legendary accordionist Marc Savoy, and sons Joel and Wilson—as well as the all-female Cajun group The Magnolia Sisters. She's also one half of the acclaimed duo with Linda Ronstadt, "Ann Savoy and Linda Ronstadt," whose 2006 album "Adieu False Heart" received widespread praise for its blend of Americana and Cajun influences.
