Travis

Travis is a Scottish rock band formed in Glasgow in 1990 by Fran Healy (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Dougie Payne (bass guitar, backing vocals), Andy Dunlop (lead guitar, banjo, backing vocals), and Neil Primrose (drums, percussion). The band gained major success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their album "The Invisible Band" and hit singles such as "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?" and "Sing," which catapulted them into the limelight, securing their position as a staple within the British post-Britpop era.

Their soulful melodies and introspective lyrics resonate heavily with listeners who find solace and connection in their heartfelt songs. Over the years, Travis has continued to demonstrate their commitment to their art through consistent touring and the release of several albums and special editions. In recent years, their work has included retrospective releases like "The Invisible Band (Deluxe Edition)" and live records such as "The Invisible Band Live" which capture the enduring spirit of their classic sounds. With "10 Songs," their ninth studio album released in 2020, Travis has shown they still have fresh stories to tell, highlighted by tracks like "A Ghost" and "The Only Thing" featuring Susanna Hoffs, reaffirming their place in the contemporary music scene.
