Yali Sobol is a talented Israeli rock musician, songwriter, and author. Born on November 1, 1972, in Haifa, Israel, he is best known as the lead vocalist of the popular Israeli rock band "Monica Sex." The band gained significant attention with their debut album "Wounds and Kisses" in 1995, which achieved gold status. After Monica Sex disbanded, Sobol embarked on a solo career, releasing his first album "Horse" in 1999. Over the years, he has collaborated on various musical projects, including the album "El Dorado" with Rea Mochiach in 2008. Sobol has also ventured into writing, publishing novels like "Between Apartments" and "Key Money," and more recently, his essays have touched on political and cultural themes.
In addition to his solo work, Sobol has contributed to the music scene by writing songs for prominent Israeli artists and participating in projects such as the film score for "A Wolves’ Moon."
