Ras Ninin

Ras Ninin, whose real name is Ninchley Toussaint Matombé, is a celebrated reggae and seggae artist from Mauritius known for blending these styles with deeply inspirational and soul-nourishing lyrics. As the founder and a key member of the Cool Creole music band (also known as Kool Kreol Band), he has carved out a special place in the Mauritian music scene, often compared to legendary seggae artists like Kaya. Ras Ninin's musical journey began in his teens and took off with the success of his album *Obzerve* (2006). Since then, he has released several albums and live sessions, including *Rev Lavenir* (2011), *Bat Lamok* (2017), *Dan Sinplisite Live Studio Session* (2019), and his latest album *Red Card* (2023).
