Twice As Much

Twice As Much was a British pop duo formed in the mid-1960s, consisting of Dave Skinner and Andrew Rose. Known for their harmonically rich, baroque pop style, the duo was part of the same vibrant Swinging London scene that produced many other pop acts of the era. They were signed to Immediate Records, a label founded by Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham, and are perhaps best remembered for their 1966 debut single, "Sittin' On A Fence"—a Jagger/Richards composition originally unreleased by the Rolling Stones.

Twice As Much released two albums during their brief run: "Own Up" (1966) and "That's All" (1968), both showcasing a mix of original songs and covers, with lush arrangements and distinct vocal harmonies. Though they didn't achieve major commercial success, the duo has gained recognition over the years among collectors and fans of 1960s British pop. After the group dissolved, Dave Skinner went on to collaborate with other artists, including a stint with Roxy Music.
