Bruxa Maria

Bruxa Maria is a British punk rock band from London, known for their aggressive and unpredictable sound. The band was formed after vocalist and guitarist Gill Dread's previous group disbanded. Initially, Dread worked with various musicians to create Bruxa Maria's debut album, *Human Condition*, featuring influences from noise-rock bands like Melvins and Helmet. Over time, the band has solidified its lineup, including Dave Cochrane on bass, Paul Antony on drums, and Robbie Judkins handling noise/effects.

Bruxa Maria has released several albums, including *The Maddening*, *Skinwalker* (a collaborative effort with MoE), and more recently, *Build Yourself A Shrine And Pray*. Their music often reflects themes of social critique and personal reflection, embodying a punk ethos of being true to oneself in adversity.
