A Change of Pace

**A Change of Pace** was an upbeat pop-punk/alternative rock band hailing from Surprise, Arizona, formed in 2002. Bursting onto the scene with energetic hooks and melodic punch, they gained traction with their 2004 debut album, *An Offer You Can’t Refuse*, and solidified their sound with 2005’s *Prepare the Masses*. Known for infectious tracks like “Prepared for the Worst” and “Loose Lips Sink Ships,” they toured with acts like Fall Out Boy and shared stages at Warped Tour, earning a loyal fanbase for their high-energy live shows.

After a hiatus in the late 2000s, the band regrouped in the early 2010s, dropping fresh singles like “I Wanna Know” and the cheekily titled “What the Hell Happened,” alongside the *Change Is the Only Constant* EP (2013). Despite lineup shifts and periods of quiet, their music kept that signature blend of youthful urgency and catchy choruses. Though no longer active, A Change of Pace remains a nostalgic favorite for fans who blasted their anthems during the mid-2000s pop-punk heyday.
