Los Hermanos Ábalos was a legendary Argentine folk music group formed in 1939 in Santiago del Estero province. The original lineup consisted of five brothers: Napoleón Benjamín, Adolfo Armando, Roberto Wilson, Víctor Manuel, and Marcelo Raúl Ábalos. They were pioneers in popularizing traditional Argentine folk music styles like chacarera and zamba. The group remained active for over 60 years, becoming one of the longest-running and most influential folk ensembles in Latin American music history.
