Indexi was a rock band from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, formed in 1962. Their music represents a collision of various different genres and styles, including rock, progressive rock, and blues, with certain elements of traditional folk music from the region also finding their way into their songs. Over time, Indexi became a true symbol of the Yugoslav rock scene and are remembered for their unique blend of music that often included poetic lyrics and complex compositions. The band's name "Indexi" was derived from the index books that students used at universities throughout the former Yugoslavia.
