Doc Rotten

Doc Rotten is a punk rock band from Trenton, New Jersey, formed in the winter of 2017. The four-piece group quickly made their mark by recording a debut EP soon after their first local shows. Known for their blue-collar ethos and relentless work ethic, they consistently write, record, and tour, gaining a passionate fanbase. Their sound channels the spirit of classic punk with a modern edge, drawing comparisons to bands like Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys, and Street Dogs.

They’ve released several EPs including *Sick and Suffering* (2018), produced by Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls, and followed it with their debut full-length album *Illusion to Choose*. In 2024, they dropped their self-titled 10-track album, again working with Steinkopf. Doc Rotten’s music blends high energy, anthemic riffs, and lyrics that reflect working-class struggles and resistance, with standout tracks like "Psych Ward 103" showcasing their knack for catchy hooks and powerful punk attitude. The current lineup features Johnny on vocals, Andy K on guitar and vocals, Doug on bass, and AJ on drums.
