Caramell was a Swedish pop music group, known largely for their upbeat eurodance tracks and catchy melodies. The group originally consisted of singers Katia Löfgren and Malin Sundström, along with producers Jorge "Vasco" Vasconcelo and Juha "Millboy" Myllylä. Caramell first came to public attention in the late 1990s and gained a considerable following in Sweden with their playful, dance-oriented music that often featured whimsical lyrics and infectious hooks.
Throughout their career, Caramell produced a number of singles that struck a chord with both national and international audiences. Among their most notable releases are hits like "Vad Heter Du," "Allra Bästa Vänner," and the immensely popular "Caramelldansen," which became a viral phenomenon and spawned an internet meme known as the "Caramelldansen" dance. Despite their initial disbandment in the early 2000s, their music continued to resonate with fans, leading to the eventual release of additional tracks like "Supergott," "Om du var min," and "Jag ser på dig." They maintained a loyal fanbase with their vibrant and energetic performances, and their songs, including "Explodera (Videoversion)" and the album "Gott och blandat," still capture the feel-good essence of the late 90s eurodance scene.
