The B-52's are an iconic American new wave band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976. The group, known for their flamboyant and kitschy style, consists of vocalists Cindy Wilson, Fred Schneider, and Kate Pierson, drummer Keith Strickland, and Cindy's brother guitarist Ricky Wilson, who tragically passed away in 1985.
