Junior Songfestival is a Dutch televised music competition for children, held annually since 2003. It serves as the national selection process for the Netherlands' entry in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The show features young performers aged 8 to 15 competing with original songs, with the winner going on to represent the Netherlands internationally. Over the years, Junior Songfestival has produced several successful acts, including Ralf Mackenbach who won Junior Eurovision in 2009 with "Click Clack". The competition has evolved over time, with recent editions featuring songs written by famous Dutch musicians and a mix of jury and public voting to determine the winner.
