Teddybears

Teddybears is a Swedish band that originally formed in 1991 under the name Teddybears STHLM. The band began as a trio consisting of Patrik Arve and brothers Joakim and Klas Åhlund, known for their eclectic and genre-defying sound that is a vibrant mix of pop, rock, hip hop, electronica, reggae, and punk. Initially, they started out with a more hardcore punk influence, but as their sound evolved, they incorporated a variety of styles which led to a more diverse musical fusion that resonates with a wider audience.

The group truly garnered international attention with the release of their album "Soft Machine" in 2006, especially with the singles "Cobrastyle" featuring Mad Cobra and "Punkrocker" featuring the legendary Iggy Pop. These tracks epitomize Teddybears’ innovative way of blending infectious melodies with unexpected collaborations. The band's distinctive aesthetic, often accompanied by bear masks in promotional materials and during performances, has given them a unique presence in the music scene. Their dynamic approach to music has enabled them to maintain relevance and excitement among fans across the globe, as evident in their recent tracks such as "Young, Handsome & Fast" and "Rock On," which continue to showcase their ability to craft catchy tunes that defy conventional genre boundaries.
