Tessanne Chin

Tessanne Chin is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter from Jamaica who rose to international fame after winning Season 5 of NBC's The Voice in 2013. With a background rich in reggae, rock, and soul influences, Tessanne quickly captured audiences with her soul-stirring performances and unmistakable voice. Her blind audition cover of "Try" by Pink turned all four chairs, setting the stage for a memorable run on the show under the guidance of coach Adam Levine.

Before The Voice, Tessanne had already built a name for herself in the Caribbean music scene, touring as a backup singer for reggae legend Jimmy Cliff and releasing her debut independent album, In Between Words, in 2010. Since winning The Voice, she's continued to release music that blends pop, reggae, and R&B, showcasing both her vocal range and her authentic Jamaican roots.
