Tshaka

Tshaka Mayanja, born Winston Mayanja, is a prominent Ugandan reggae artist known for his deep impact on the African reggae scene. With over 500 songs written and arranged, he is considered one of Uganda’s leading reggae talents, excelling as a singer, songwriter, producer, and promoter. Tshaka is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing bass guitar, piano, drums, and percussion. His career highlights include serving as a judge on East Africa’s major music talent show, The Tusker Project Fame, and promoting reggae acts such as UB40 and Shaggy across Africa. As a key figure in reggae music, Tshaka has contributed significantly to popularizing the genre throughout the continent.
