Claudia Brücken is a German singer best known as the lead vocalist for the synth-pop band Propaganda, which emerged in the 1980s under the ZTT label. With her distinctive voice and dramatic presence, she played a key role in defining the band’s dark, cinematic sound on their influential debut album, A Secret Wish. After leaving Propaganda, Brücken teamed up with Thomas Leer to form the electro-pop duo Act and later pursued a solo career marked by atmospheric pop and sophisticated electronic production.
Throughout her solo career, Claudia Brücken has collaborated with a range of artists, including Paul Humphreys of OMD, with whom she released music under the name Onetwo. Her later solo albums, such as The Lost Are Found and Where Else…, showcase her continued evolution as a vocalist and songwriter, blending pop sensibility with avant-garde influences. Elegant and introspective, her work consistently reflects a passion for pushing artistic boundaries.
