**Danne Attlerud** is a Swedish composer and songwriter, born on May 28, 1957, in Visby, Sweden. He began playing guitar at the age of 10 and wrote his first song at 12. Over his career, Danne has composed lyrics for more than 4,500 songs, with over 400 released by various artists across more than 20 countries. He has participated in numerous national Eurovision competitions, including Sweden's Melodifestivalen and Norway's Melodi Grand Prix, where he won in 2004 with the song "High" performed by Knut Anders Sørum. Danne has also collaborated with artists in South Africa, resulting in over 50 songs released there. He operates his own production company, Docit Production AB, and continues to compose for artists and commercials worldwide.
Danne's musical journey includes releasing solo albums and singles, such as *Annorlunda* (1978), *Inför en tid* (1980), and *Jakten* (1984). More recently, he has released works like *Vespa* (2011) and *Attlerudkarikatyrerna* (2012) with the Attlerud Band.
