V.O.F. De Kunst, known internationally as The Art Company, is a Dutch pop group formed in 1983 in Tilburg. Fronted by lead singer Nol Havens, the band initially gained fame with catchy Dutch pop tracks like their chart-topping 1983 hit "Suzanne" (released as "Susanna" internationally), which soared to #1 in the Netherlands and #12 in the UK. By the 1990s, they shifted focus to family-friendly music, creating beloved children's songs and tribute albums—including their popular homage to Dutch writer Annie M.G. Schmidt, featuring classics like "Dikkertje Dap". Their later releases, such as *Sinterklaasliedjes* and *De Leukste Liedjes van Annie M.G. Schmidt*, cemented their status as Dutch childhood music icons.
