David Morley

David Morley is a British electronic musician and producer who has been a vital part of the European electronic music scene since the late 1980s. Born in London and raised partly in Belgium, Morley started out as a guitarist before discovering electronic music and recording studios in his teens. He became particularly well-known for his work as an in-house engineer at R&S Records, where he collaborated with legendary artists and helped shape the label’s iconic techno and ambient sound. Over the years, he has released music under various aliases and his own name, with notable recent releases such as "Fashion," "Boundary Travels," "Ghosts," "Tilted," and others—showcasing his evolving style that spans techno, ambient, and experimental electronic music.

Morley has also produced and remixed tracks with Andrea Parker, including work on her album Kiss My ARP, and has collaborated with a wide range of artists across different labels, including R&S, Apollo, and De:tuned. He is recognized for consistently blending innovation with classic electronic music elements, earning a reputation as a compositional innovator. Today, David Morley continues to release new music and master works for other artists while remaining rooted in Belgium’s vibrant electronic music community.
