Manuel Monroy Chazarreta, better known as "El Chaqueño Palavecino," is an Argentine folk singer and composer. Born in the province of Salta, Argentina, in 1957, he is renowned for his unique style that blends traditional Andean music with contemporary rhythms. With a career spanning over four decades, El Chaqueño has released numerous albums, including his recent "Antojolía" series and the acclaimed "Q' Tal Metal." His music is characterized by its heartfelt lyrics, infectious melodies, and the use of traditional instruments such as the charango and the bombo legüero.
