Hans Pritschet

Hans Pritschet is a German composer and conductor who has made a significant contribution to the world of choral music. Born in 1935, Pritschet studied music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and later became a professor of choral conducting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg. He has conducted numerous choirs and orchestras throughout Europe and has premiered many new works by contemporary composers. Pritschet's own compositions are characterized by their lyrical melodies, rich harmonies, and expressive textures. He has written a wide range of choral works, from small-scale pieces for a cappella choir to large-scale works for choir and orchestra. His music has been performed by choirs and orchestras around the world and has been recorded on numerous CDs.
