Nisa Addina is a contemporary violinist from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, born on October 27, 1996. She is known for combining her roots with diverse musical styles, performing for audiences both locally and globally. Nisa has achieved numerous prestigious accolades, including becoming the Junior Grand Champion in the instrumentalist category at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles in 2011. She was also the youngest representative of Malaysia at the World Islamic Economic Forum and has performed at notable events like the Borneo Jazz Festival and the Jacob Collier Project Orchestra. Nisa holds musical qualifications from institutions such as ANZCA and IMEB, and she has been a student at Berklee College of Music, where she studied jazz and majored in Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production.
Nisa's musical projects reflect her versatility and creativity. She has released a tribute album dedicated to Malaysian music icon Tan Sri P. Ramlee, produced by prominent artists like Helen Yap and Aubrey Suwito.
