Cadaver

Cadaver is a Norwegian death metal band that’s been melting faces since the late ’80s, blending raw aggression with technical precision. Originally formed in 1988 by Anders Odden and Eilert “Død” Djupvik, they helped pioneer the Scandinavian extreme metal scene with albums like *…In Pains* (1992) before going on hiatus. The band roared back to life in 2020 with *Edder & Bile*, their first full-length in 16 years, delivering chaotic riffs and guttural vocals on tracks like “D.G.A.F.” and “The Age of the Offended.” Now fronted by Odden and drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth), Cadaver remains a gnarly force in old-school death metal, proving they’re still masters of bone-crunching, no-frills brutality.
