Wir sind Helden (We Are Heroes) is a German pop rock band that carved out a significant place in the early 2000s music scene with their clever lyrics and catchy melodies. The band, formed in 2000 in Hamburg, quickly gained popularity after their hit single "Guten Tag" received extensive radio play, leading to their debut album ‘Die Reklamation’ in 2003, which became a huge success in Germany. Comprised of lead vocalist Judith Holofernes, guitarist Jean-Michel Tourette, drummer Pola Roy, and bassist Mark Tavassol, the group captivated audiences with their fresh blend of rock and intelligent pop, coupled with socially conscious and thought-provoking lyrics.
