Atlas Sound

Atlas Sound is the solo project of Bradford Cox, the frontman of the indie rock band Deerhunter. Conceived as an outlet for his personal songwriting, Atlas Sound allows Cox to explore the more experimental and introspective aspects of his music. With influences ranging from ambient to shoegaze and dream pop, Cox's compositions under the Atlas Sound moniker are marked by their ethereal soundscapes and emotional depth.

The project's discography includes the critically acclaimed albums "Let the Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel" (2008) and "Logos" (2009), as well as "Parallax" (2011), which continued to showcase Cox's penchant for dreamy textures and intimate lyricism. Beyond these full-length albums, Atlas Sound has also released the "Another Bedroom EP" and numerous other recordings that emphasize Cox's prolific nature as a songwriter. While Atlas Sound shares some sonic DNA with Deerhunter, it also weaves a unique tapestry of avant-garde pop, drawing listeners into Cox's singular artistic vision.
