Katerina Kyrmizi

Katerina Kyrmizi is a Greek singer-songwriter born on August 9, 1975, in Athens. She comes from a family of singers, which naturally influenced her career path. Kyrmizi began her musical journey early, participating in a children's musical performance in 1994. She gained recognition in the late 1990s, particularly with her debut album "Κοντσέρτο για σοκολάτα και τριαντάφυλλα" (Concerto for Chocolate and Roses) in 1996, which included popular tracks like "Η Παραμυθένια" and "Στην πίσω τσέπη του Blue Jean." Her music often blends elements of alternative pop, and she has collaborated extensively with composer Nikos Gregoriadis, whom she married in 1999. Over the years, Kyrmizi has released several albums and EPs, including "Το παιδί με την κεραία" (The Child with the Antenna), "Είναι Εδώ!" (It's Here!), "Λάρβα" (Larva), and the EPs "Κάκτοι Ι" and "Κάκτοι ΙΙ."
