Bertomeu is a Valencian musician, composer, and singer-songwriter born in 1976 in Valencia. He is also known as Albert Bertomeu, although his real name is Albert Ortega. He is the son of Enric Ortega, a member of the group Al Tall. Bertomeu's musical journey began in jazz, playing in bands like Vinojuan and Noir before transitioning to become a singer-songwriter. He has set various poems by Estellés to music, earning him the Miquel Martí i Pol award for his work on the poem "Els amants." His discography includes albums like "I ara què?" (2010), "7 d'Estellés" (2012), "A casa nostra" (2013), "Estellés infinit" (2015), "Collita i llaurador" (2016), and "Bertomeu Blues Band Show" (2018), which marked a return to blues.
