Mike Sanchez

Jesus Miguel "Mike" Sanchez is a British rhythm and blues singer, pianist, and songwriter born on February 17, 1964, in Hackney, London. He is known for his work with the Big Town Playboys and Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, as well as his successful solo career. Sanchez's music style encompasses rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, rhythm & blues, boogie woogie, and blues. He has released several albums, including "Just Can't Afford It," "Blue Boy," "Women & Cadillacs," "You Better Dig It," and "Babes and Buicks." Sanchez is celebrated for his charismatic stage presence and energetic performances, often drawing comparisons to legendary artists like Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Sanchez's journey into music began early, influenced by his family's musical background and his own introduction to rock 'n' roll through his brother. He formed his first band, The Rockets, before joining the Big Town Playboys in 1984. After leaving the Big Town Playboys, he pursued a solo career and also became a member of Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings.
