Liza Minnelli is an American singer, actress, and dancer. She is the daughter of Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli. Minnelli began her career as a child actress, appearing in films such as Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) and The Clock (1945). She made her Broadway debut in 1963 in the musical Flora the Red Menace, for which she won a Tony Award. Minnelli went on to star in a number of successful films, including Cabaret (1972), for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. She has also released several successful albums, including Liza with a "Z" (1972) and New York, New York (1977).
