โกไข่

Jumpon Thongtan, better known as Gokhai, is a Thai singer and actor born on November 29, 1964, in Phang Nga Province. He is primarily known for his work in the luk thung genre, a style of Thai folk music. Gokhai has been active in the music industry since approximately 2003, although he gained more recognition from 2006 onwards. He was previously signed with GMM Grammys' subsidiary, GMM Gold, from 2005 to 2017. During his time with GMM Gold, he released several albums, including "แรงบันดาลใจจาก มหา'ลัยเหมืองแร่" and "ทะเล จีนใต้," which align with the themes typical of luk thung music. After leaving GMM Gold, Gokhai has continued his career as an independent artist.

Gokhai's music often reflects his roots in Thai culture, and he is known to compose and perform songs that are deeply connected to his country's musical traditions. His career also extends into acting, showcasing his versatility as a performer. Despite his long-standing presence in the Thai music scene, Gokhai remains a beloved figure for his contributions to luk thung music.
