By The Sea is a UK-based band formed in 2011 by Liam Power, who is the vocalist and guitarist. Liam grew up in Meols, an old Viking village on the Wirral Peninsula. The band first emerged with their debut single "Waltz Away" released on The Great Pop Supplement label and have since produced a body of work including tracks like "Anywhere You Like," "Heaven Knows Magnolia," and "By the Sea" itself. Their music carries an indie pop sensibility, marked by Power's distinct vocals and melodic guitar work, and they have steadily built a reputation in the UK music scene since their inception.
